How do I transfer my domain to a different provider?
An 'EPP' or 'Auth Code' is required in order to transfer a domain name to a different provider. This can be obtained by visiting the ausregistry website. Note: An email will then be sent to the domain owner contact.

I need to transfer ownership of a domain name?
The process and cost can vary from provider to provider. You first need to find out who is the current domain provider and contact them. There are generally two forms that need to be filled in by both the transferor and the transferee in order for this process to begin. This process usually takes approximately 7 days to complete.

My domain name has expired. What do I do now?
For a .au domain name, there is a 30 day grace period available after the domain name reaches its expiry date. During this time, the domain can be renewed by the owner. After this 30 day period has ended, the domain becomes publicly available for registration by anyone.
